The modern trend in interior design has affected fireplaces as well. Originally, glass burners were a limited California phenomenon, and only available in wood burning fireplace conversions, but now glass media is available for direct vent fireplaces and unvented burners. Accent lighting can make a glass bed glow year round, and other media - stones, driftwood - may be mixed in with glass to create a unique look.
We can adapt a gas burner design to just about any wood burning fireplace - even this see-through design between a master bedroom and bathroom. There are some tricks to hiding the ignition assembly and the valves effectively, but a little planning makes about anything possible.
This mid-sized gas fireplace features a contemporary ribbon burner and under-lighting to illuminate a bed of crushed glass in three color options. Only 16 1/4 inches deep, it's perfect for adding to master bedrooms and bonus rooms. At 20,500 BTU's maximum input, the 564 Diamond-Fyre heats up to 950 square feet.
The Crystallo™ combines a polished clean face look with a unique flame and ember bed. CRYSTALITES™ come standard with the unit and accent the firebox from underneath the glass ember bed. Porcelain Radiant Reflective panels are standard with the unit and echo flames and crystal reflections throughout the firebox. Up to 17,000 BTU's
The LHD50 combines a very wide viewing area with a non-traditional glass bed and clean-lined surrounds in black, white and pewter to create a very modern look
